Whether you're a longtime jazz fan or just discovering the genre, we invite you to join us and experience the joy and spontaneity of live jazz with the West Shore Jazz Quintet. This is a fundraising event, so your ticket supports education programs and restoration projects in the Tahoe California State Parks! Tickets are $130 ($120 for SSPF Park Donors) and include parking, a twilight reception with live music, and heavy apps. A reservation is required.

Join Black Bear Lodge for their Summer Wine Tasting Series, happening every other Friday from 5–7 PM. Enjoy an evening of curated wines from a featured winery, live music, and the relaxed gardens of Black Bear Lodge. Sip, unwind, and discover something new with each unique tasting experience throughout the summer.
Spooner Lake 10K and 5K. Spooner Lake is nestled in the Lake Tahoe Basin, surrounded by aspens and over 12,000 acres of forested open space. The course circumnavigates the lake on very scenic singletrack trails. Don't miss out on the 50K or the 10 Miler! The Marlette 50K is an adventurous journey through some of the world’s most scenic and challenging trails.
Join in for a volunteer vacation in one of the most beloved wilderness areas in the country! This four-day backcountry trail work experience takes place in Desolation Wilderness near Lake Aloha.
Spend your days working on the trail you love, your evenings camping among the stunning granite landscapes of the Sierra Nevada, all while connecting with a passionate and welcoming trail community.
Music on the Beach returns on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Lakeshore Lodge & Spa, presented by the Tahoe Arts Project. Admission begins at 6 p.m., with live music from 7–9 p.m. featuring Niall McGuinness, Trey Stone, and Rocky Sleight. A $20 suggested donation will support Tahoe Arts Project programs, and the evening will also include a benefit raffle for performing arts in local schools and the community. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, low-back chairs, food, and beverages.
