April 18th

League to Save Lake Tahoe Community Cleanup
Basecamp Pizza at the Heavenly Village

9:00am-12:00pm. Celebrate Earth Month! Cleanup materials will be provided. Bring a reusable water bottle, gloves and friends. Lunch, raffle and a prize will be provided to all volunteers starting at noon. Complimentary valet parking at the Marriott Grand Residence Club for volunteers during the event. 

April 18th

Ride with Pro Cyclist Peter Stetina at Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe

9:00am. Peter Stetina is an American professional cyclist for Trek-Segafredo & will be training in the area as he gears up for the 2018 Amgen Tour of California and Stage 6 at Lake Tahoe’s South Shore. Media and cycling enthusiasts are invited to “train” with Stetina. 

April 19th

One-Woman Art Exhibition: “Fundamental Freedoms”
Lake Tahoe Community College

6:30pm, free. Mayor of South Lake Tahoe Wendy David will officially open a one-woman art exhibition featuring large-scale portraits by local artist Shelley Zentner in the Foyer Gallery at the Lake Tahoe Community College. For more info, click here.

Spring Meltdown Festival
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Single day GA – $25, 3 Day Pass – $70 & 3 Day VIP Pass – $100. 21 and older. Attendees will see over 40 bands take the stage for three days of metal and rock.

Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra’s Annual Fundraiser, “An Elegant Evening”
Harrah’s Lake Tahoe

5:30pm-10:30pm. Get ready for another amazing Elegant Evening of fun, food, and community. Guests will enjoy selective tastings from local wineries, Tahoe Blue Vodka, and Lake Tahoe AleWorx and a beautiful plated dinner served by Harrah’s finest along with a fabulous silent auction. This wonderful annual event benefits our local youth, women and community organizations.
